Education Qualification: Applying aspirants
should have graduation/Post graduation degree from recognized university
Application Form Fee for Preliminary Exam
- Candidates need to submit fee of Rs.100.
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Female/ Physically Handicapped categories are exempted from payment of the application fee for prelims.
Application Form Fee for Mains:
- Female/ SC /ST /PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee
- Applicants can pay fee of Rs. 200 for Civil Services (Main) Examination
Mains Exam Centres:
Mains exam will be held at as many as 23 cities across
various centres in India.

Process
to Apply:
- Able applicants should visit the official web site of Organization that is www.upsc.gov.in to fill up UPSC Mains Application Form.
- UPSC prelims application form process consists of 02 stages - Part I and Part II.
Part
I
- Fill up general application information, including name and contact details.
- Now press on 'I agree' button and a confirmation page is generated and applicants must note down the registration number.
Part
II
- Includes exam centre or venues related options, photographs uploading and fee payment.
- Candidates need to upload photograph and signature duly scanned in jpg format (Photograph size: between 3 kb and 40 kb & Photograph dimension: 140X110 pixels) and (Signature size: between 1kb and 40 kb & Signature dimension: 140X110).
- Pay application fee online via SBI net banking or by cash via SBI bank challan or via credit card/debit card.
- Press on the submit tab.
- Finally take a print out for future use.
